Why Frogs and Mosquitoes are Enemies
(a Story from Philipines)
"Zzzzz...," the crab snores.
Suddenly....
"Hahahaha...," some frogs laugh.
The king of frogs laughs the loudest.
The laughters wake the crab.
"Guys, would yoube quiet, please?" begs the crab.
"Sorry, Mr. Crab. But we are talking about Mr. Turtle," answer the king of frogs.
"What's wrong with him?" ask Mr. Crab.
"He always carries his house on his back."
Mr. Crab turns to Mr. Turtle. He ask,'why do you do that?"
Mr. Turtle answer,"Because I'm afraid Miss Firefly will set light to it.
Miss Firefly defends herself,"Because my fire will keep away the mosquitoes."
Mr. Crab looks at Mr. Mosquito angrily.
"No! No! I always stay away from Miss Firefly," the mosquito says. At the same time he bites the king of frogs.
The bite causes the frog to jump.He Cried,"Auch! It's painful!"
But the mosquito bites him again. Te frog king is now ready. He sticks out his tongue and catches the mosquito.
We all know that frogs and mosquitoes are enemies until now.
