The Honest Deer

In a lush and beautiful forest, there lived a young and agile deer named Budi. Budi was always known as an honest and kind-hearted animal by all the creatures in the forest.

One day, while Budi was strolling through the forest, he found a small bag lying under a big tree. When he opened the bag, he found some shiny gold coins inside. Although it was very tempting, Budi immediately realized that the bag belonged to someone who might have lost their valuable treasure.

Without hesitation, Budi carried the bag to the train station near the forest. There, he met an old owl who was searching for something. When the owl saw the bag, he was overjoyed and thanked Budi for his honesty.

The owl turned out to be a famous painter who had lost his bag of gold while seeking inspiration in the forest. Because of Budi's honesty, the owl was very grateful and gave Budi a reward as a token of appreciation.

From that day on, Budi was more respected by the other animals in the forest because of his kindness and honesty. He also learned that honesty always pays off and brings happiness to everyone.

With this story, children can learn that honesty is an important virtue and that honesty is always appreciated. Although faced with temptations, like the gold in the bag, the path of honesty will always lead to goodness in the end.
